你我童行,饥饿不再 Hunger No More 2012

A picture is worth a thousand words.... So, I would not blab much and let you view these pictures instead! hahahaha (actually am really lazy to type so much already, in the office facing computer for at least hours per day, come back face computer somemore... I need a break liau!

Here's us at the Famine-30 camp organised by Joanne from HOManiacs! My teammates... All girls! Girl power yo.... ^^

Our time were fully occupied to distract us from thinking about our fasting... We played two games during morning session - Virus attack & Say My Name. This should be the warming up session for all of us to get to know each other better and remembering our teammates' names...

Then the session continues with our camp leader Ms Joanne Chan for sharing with us what is famine and poverty is all about by letting us watching some video footage of the scenarios in the 3rd world countries. It's really heartbreaking to see the people in the videos who are suffering.

The sun was scorching bright and tough sharp 12.30pm. AND we were ushered to outside to play games outdoor up to 3 in the evening! omg omg omg....

We were being rewarded with an appearance from Yise Loo (local artist) cheering for us... Sang several songs, talk for a bit, took a group picture... and off she goes...

We played more games, interact among ourselves, an emcee from one of the local TV host came and mingle with us up to evening 7pm if not mistaken. The it's free time for us before the next session began.... More local artist stopped by our camp and cheer+ sing + kept us entertained. =)

Although these bunch of people came and go, the entertaining factor was only so-so as everyone is starting feel the hunger pang. T_T

One group picture with the emcee.... Sorry I couldn't remember her name.

Campers preparing to settle down and rest for the night. Light off at 12am if I'm not mistaken.

Us with Joanne... She is really a steel woman! No sleep for more than 48 hours due to the preparation in the main stadium and this camp... Really appreciate all her work, although Leehom couldn't make it to our camp. This busy guy was busy filming movie in Hong Kong the whole day... sigh....

Next morning at 8.45am... no feel in our stomachs anymore... empty til no feel already hahahaha

My teammates and I with foam hands provided by our lovely camp leader... ^^

A whopping 27,000 participants this year! *salute*

Melawati Stadium, Shah Alam. My first time steeping foot into the stadium.

Lots of games and talking by different different DJs, TV hosts etc. This fella here was imitating the opening of Olympic carrying a fake torch and run up to the stage! lol...
Was really annoyed with all media that stood in front of the stage from the start of artists performance up to the end..  We were sitting and they were all standing... So, see what? Their buttocks only lo...

Daniel Lee!!!

Other performing artists.....

Leehom finally came onstage 15 minutes before the end of our 30-hour famine countdown!

Emcees talking to Leehom.

Leehom sharing his experience with the audience.

5 minutes to the final countdown!

Looking very good looking here... ^^

oh, and also here....

Final 5 seconds!! Getting ready to drum away.....

Confetti flying everywhere...

High five with one of MyFM's DJ... and he's gone back stage again...

Local artists bud goodbye to the audience.... Til we meet again next year!

and finally, a pic of us breaking fast with a bottle of soya milk from the event organiser...

til then, ttfn! ^^
