Lunch at Bia Hoi

Went over to Bia Hoi: The Buddha Bar for Kwang Fang's farewell the other day... To tell the truth, their food were so-so only. BUT service that day was like super good! So, a good impression means more to come in the future! =)

I really liked the ambiance there... Nice deco, good music, and comfortable seats..

The table next, next next, next next next to ours...

Spacious and tidy...

Great deco!

Once we were seated, the waiter came over and asked what would we like for drinks... I was in the mood for some cocktail (non-alcoholic) so I ordered Summer Fruits...

My drinks.. Summer Fruits: Strawberry, apple and lime combined gracefully... This drink's very refreshing... Two thumbs up for it! ^^

KF and her coffee... As I'm typing this, she is already at the comfort in her own home... shiokness!

The waiter was very kind... While we were camwhoring on our drinks and everything in between, he has offered to take a pic of all of us! so cheers to him!

Shinhuey, Leehoon, Wernyee, Isaac and Kwangfang.

All these while, I thought Bia Hoi only serve drinks... but they do serve food as well! Here's what we ordered...

All their main courses are only 2 for £6.50!!

So, we ordered 6 main course to be shared among 5 of us...

First, Thai Yellow Prawn Curry...

This one's very mild, a tinge of sweetness of the curry... Superb to go with Thai fragrant rice... Yumm...

Next, Thai Green Chicken Curry served with oriental greens

I prefer this one compared to the prawn curry.. The look of it is not that appealing, but the taste were good...

Next, Spicy Chilli Prawn Noodle

This one is actually Japanese Udon. Stir fried together with King Prawns, beansprouts, pakchoi, spring onion, beans with sweet chilli sauce. So, it's not spicy, but a lil sweet... ^^

Among all dishes, this one's my least favourite... Too salty and the colour's too BLACK... I present you, Bia Hoi's Vegetarian Black Noodle!

I shall proceed to the next one... -__-

I ordered this, and it's the nicest!

Crispy Chicken Tempura Wrap... Sedaaap! Served with salad and homemade fries.

After we've got all our dishes. The waiter came about and apologise to us coz they ran out of something for Isaac's Duck Pancake... We were cool about it, and said it doesnt matter....

Then, 5 minutes later... He came to our table with this...

A bowl of prawn tempura and 8 spring rolls... on the house! ho ho ho....

Myself with our food before we start indulging....

The girls....

The pair....

Seriously, we were surprise for their generosity....

We were eating and chatting happily and another surprise for us! When we're done with our food and were practically stuffed to our throat, KF call for the bill... and the whole thing only cost £22.50. Drinks aren't included...

So, she went over to the counter and told the waiter about it. Then he said, oh it's alright, they're just a couple of drinks... On the house again!! wakakakaka... Boy, we were really happy and gave him a good tip in the end. =)

I was rushing to work already and before all of us bid goodbye, we have a few pictures taken in the place... After all, it's called the Buddha Bar... No Buddha statue means it's not a Buddha Bar anymore, right?

Erm, I don't know what this statue called...

Varieties of drinks...

Give KF a hug and off I go to work...

Hope to meet her soon and wish her all the best in everything she's going through back home..

Til then, ttfn!
